Cecilia's First Super Bowl

Cecilia helped Dan and I cheer on the Steelers to another Super Bowl Championship.  She must be their lucky charm!  She even stayed up to dance to the tunes of the Boss.  She loved it!

Sitting Up!

Cecilia is getting stronger and is almost able to situp on her own.  We still keep the boppy behind her in case she tumbles backwards but I think she will get the hang of it soon.

This video is of Cecilia before bedtime tonight.

Cecilia's First Food & Four Month Checkup

Cecilia had her four month checkup on Saturday morning. She weighed in at a whopping 15 lbs 13 oz (87th percentile) and measured 26 inches (93 percentile).

I was thinking over the weekend just how much Cecilia has changed since her last checkup two months ago.   She sleeps through the night and no longer needs to be swaddled.  She smiles all of the time now and we get "real" giggles out of her.  She is drooling and putting everything in her mouth now. She is such a happy baby and her personality is really shining through.

Over the weekend, Cecilia started rolling over and over and over...she won't stop!  She isn't a big fan of rolling from her stomach to her back but is really getting the hang of rolling from her back to stomach.  The days of leaving her on her activity mat unattended are coming to an end.

Tonight Cecilia ate her first real food and loved it!  Dan took plenty of pictures - these are some of our favorites!

Cecilia's First Thanksgiving

Cecilia's first Thanksgiving was such a fun day! We started the day at the Turkey Trot in Upper Arlington. It is a 5 mile race that I have been running for the past few years. It is always fun to see the families out on Thanksgiving morning. Dan and I decided to do the 2-mile Walk and Talk. Next year I will be back to the 5 mile run!

After the trot, we went to Nana and Papa Wilson's house for an early dinner. Then we traveled down to New Lexington to see Nana and Grandpa Dodd and family.

Cecilia was such a good girl! It was a big day with a lotof traveling.

Cecilia's Baptism

Cecilia was baptized on November 8th at our local church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  After months of campaigning, it was so nice to have our family over to celebrate Ceci's big day and Dan's victory.

Our little angel!  She wore cousin Kaitlyn and Sophia's gown.  We planned to use the gown that Dan was baptized in.  It is a 100 year old gown that belonged to his Grandmother.  At the last minute we decided it was too fragile to use.  For those of you who have yet to meet Ceci, she loves to move and is constantly kicking her legs.

Getting ready for the big moment.

This is what Cecilia looked like most of the mass.  Thank goodness she is so darn cute!

Sleeping in Daddy's arms after everyone left.  What a big day for Cecilia!
